Marisa is currently a student attending SUNY Plattsburgh, originally from Buffalo, New York, and going into her senior year as a double major in Management Information Systems and Computer Security. She has spent her weekends volunteering with the group Focus on Ferals since her freshman year, and as continued to involve herself with the community of Plattsburgh. Throughout her first three years she has maintained a GPA of 3.2 and has involved herself in many activities on campus. She is one of two Co-Directors for the newly formed Center of Cyber Security and Technology, and was elected the Vice President of the Software Engineering Club at the end of her Junior semester. Throughout her college career she has been accumulating real world experiencing as well, working as an intern at the Buffalo based company ASG-365, LLC., the 21st Century Learning Department at Beekmantown Central School District, and at Twinstate Technologies. Next semester she will also get the opportunity to work under SUNY Plattsburgh’s Network Security team in order to continue to grow.
